Bayern Munich win the Champions League

For the sixth time in the club’s history, German giants Bayern Munich won the UEFA Champions League after beating French side Paris Saint-Germain 1-0 in the final in Portugal’s capital Lisbon.

Former PSG player Coman appeared at the back post to address Joshua Kimmich’s handsome center in the 59th minute to close out a hat-trick for a team that had already won the Bundesliga and the German Cup.

Bayern ‘s win at the Estadio da Luz in Lisbon secures a repeat of their 2013 treble, with coach Hansi Flick matching Jupp Heynckes in the 2019/20 season extended by coronavirus to claim the continental title, Bundesliga and German Cup.

Paris Saint-Germain has celebrated their best Champions League season as reaching the final for the first time.

The final match was played behind closed doors due to the coronavirus pandemic.
