Australia and New Zealand host the Women’s World Cup in 2023

The FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023™ will be hosted in Australia and New Zealand . FIFA made its official announcement on Thursday.

Japan had already withdrawn from hosting this tournament. After this, the claim of Australia and New Zealand became very strong.

Australia and New Zealand scored 4.1 out of 5 points under the supervision of FIFA, the governing body of world football. Colombia had the second strongest claim after Japan’s withdrawal. However, Columbia got only 2.8 out of 5.

The competition will be held between 10 July to 20 August 2023. This time, 32 teams will participate instead of 24.
