Siddikur Rahman shared the 59th place with two other golfers in the Maybank Championship Malaysia after the 3rd round at Royal Selangor Golf Club court, Kuala Lumpur on Saturday.
The lone Bangladeshi golfer in the tournament, Siddikur shared the place scoring even-par (213), 15 shots behind of the leader Soomin Lee of Korea.
Soomin moved up from joint 3rd to secure the top slot with 15-under-par (198), descending Nathan Holman of Australia to 3rd who scored 11-under-par (202).
Marcus Fraser of Australia leapfrogged six steps to follow the leader scoring 12-under-par (201).
In the 3rd round of the three-million dollar tournament, two-time Asian Tour winner Siddikur treaded two birdies and three bogeys to score one over-par (72).
Siddikur made a dismal start in the 3rd round playing two successive bogeys to put the 1st and 2nd hole and finished the first session with another bogey in the 9th hole. He birdied in the 10th and 13th hole in the 2nd session to minimise the discomfort.
