Lionel Messi has been named in Argentina’s squad for their upcoming World Cup qualifiers after reversing his decision to retire from international football. Edgardo Bauza has named his first Argentina squad, with the returning Lionel Messi headlining those named for the World Cup qualifiers against Uruguay and Venezuela after his international U-turn. Argentina resumes their World Cup qualifying campaign on September 1 against Uruguay, before facing Venezuela five days later.
